Adithya S.M. of II Commerce 'A' won Gold Medal in Karnataka State Level Table Tennis Championship Organized by School Education Department(Pre-University) held at Bidar.

Proud Students of Govinda Dasa PU College won several Prizes in Saroj Madhu Kala Utsav-2023 held at Sarojini Madhusudhan Kushe Educational Institution, Atthavara, Mangaluru.

2) Anagha and Soundarya M. of II Sci B won third place in Grains Rangoli Competition.

Taluk level Athletics meet held at Mangala stadium Mangalore on 2nd November 2024 in which Aditi of 1 Com C won Ist place in Triple Jump, Shravan D. Shetty of 2 Com C won Ist place in Triple Jump,Kushi of 1 Sci B won IIIrd place in Long Jump & IIIrd place in 400m and Ananya of 2 Sci B,Reeya of 2 Sci B,Aakansha of 1 Sci C,Kushi of 1 Sci B won IIIrd place in Relay 4×100 girls.

National Integration Camp 2024-25

State NSS cell, Department of youth empowerment and sports,GOK Regional Directorate of NSS, Ministry of youth affairs and sports, Government of India Department of School Education(Pre-University), Bengaluru, Karnataka has organised National integration Camp 2024-25.Our proud student Ms. Tejaswi Karkera of II Arts successfully participated in this camp which was held from 17 September to 23rd September at Gandhi smaraka Nidhi, Gandhi bhavana,Bengaluru.As a part of this camp many competitions were conducted by the department in which she got first prize in solo dance competition, consolation prize in essay and group singing competition.

Seminar on Account of National Space Day

On account of National Space Day seminar competition on topic of Indian Space Mission was held for P.U. students in St.Aloysius College.Four of our 2nd PUC science students participated for the same. Akshatha Madar of II SCI B got 2nd place and Aryan D.S.of IISCI A got consolation prize.

Winners of Essay and Elocution Competitions

Rashtra Bhakta Vedike, Surathkal conducted essay and elocution competitions on 07th June 2024 for school, PUC and degree levels. Our students are involved actively in competitions, our students Akshatha of II science B got Ist prize and Greeshma of I Commerce A got IInd prize in essay competition. Akshatha of II science B got Ist prize, Ramya of II Science B got IInd prize and Adhya Uday Kumar of I Science B got IIIrd Prize in elocution competition.

Outstanding Achievements by Our Students at the Yuva Vahini Competition

Our students showcased their talents at the Yuva Vahini essay and elocution competition on the theme "Perspectives and Principles of Narayana Guru," held on Sunday, August 11, at Shree Sharada Vidyalaya College, Kodialbail, Mangalore. In the English Essay category, Shreya Vishwanath Kulal of II science A secured first place, while in the Kannada Essay category, Ramya of II science B also earned first prize. Additionally, in the English Speech category, Pramith Shetty of II Arts won second place. Akshatha II science B received a consolation prize in the Essay category, and Tejasvi Karkera of II Arts was awarded a consolation prize in the Speech category.

Cleared National Level Foundation Examination of Company Secretary(CSEET)

Sree Gawri Nandini Panda and Sinchana Kulal of II commerce ‘A’ from our college, cleared National Level Foundation Exam of Company Secretary(CSEET) with outstanding marks.

State Level Judo Bronze Medalist

Vaishak Devadiga of II Science ‘A’ has secured III place by earning Bronze medal in 90+ KG category and Reeya D. of II Science ‘B’ has secured III place by earning Bronze medal in below 48KG category in State Level Judo competition, which was held 15th and 16th of October 2024, in Onake Obovva Stadium, Chitradurga organised by Department of school education(pre-University).

Qualified for National Level Pre-RD NCC Camp 2024

Yukti R. Shetty of II Science ‘A’ NCC cadet of our college represented Karnataka and Goa directory in Republic Day selection camp. She has completed 7 NCC Republic Day selection camps, and in all she has selected for guard of honour, which is the toughest area in NCC. In intergroup selection camp, which was held in Bangalore, she was one among the only four cadets who represented Mangalore group consisting colleges from Mangalore, Udupi, Shivamogga and Madikeri.

CELEBRATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day was celebrated by N.S.S, Rangers & Rovers Unit and Junior Red Cross Society under the theme: “Planting Saplings”.

Independence Day Celebration

On account of 79th independence Day, flag hoisting ceremony was held in the college campus at 8.15am by our beloved principal Smt. Lakshmi P.
March Past was conducted by students of various association NCC, NSS, Rovers & Rangers , RedCross,Council Members and class Representatives at Vidyadayinee High School Ground. The Chief Guest Dr. Shivananda Bekal, Broadcasting Corporation of India, addressed the gathering by congratulaing the students and staff on the occasion of 79th Independence Day and also by briefing the development of India in the field of Economy, Science etc.
The formal programme was succeeded by the Cultural Programme "DESH PREM". The Staffs and students of all the sister institutions of Hindu Vidyadayinee Sangha actively participated in the same.
